North Metro Restoration is offering Mold Sampling Services for consultation and analysis of residential and commercial properties in the Metro Atlanta area. Air quality testing is vital for the safety of you and your family, especially with high Georgia humidity, high moisture environments (i.e. bathrooms, crawl spaces, etc.) that are prime areas for mold activity.
Mold sampling is recommended when mold is visible or suspected. Air sampling is our preferred method for mold testing as it gives us the specifics, regarding the type and volume of contaminants in the air, helping us to determine what types of mold may be growing in your home and to what extent.
To obtain an air sample, we use a calibrated vacuum pump - Air-O-Cell Spore Trap - to move a specific volume of air over a sterile collection area. The Air-O-Cell Spore Trap is a sampling device designed for the rapid collects of a wide range of airborne aerosols.
The collected air samples are labeled, documented on a chain of custody (COC) and sent to an independent and accredited (American Industrial Hygiene Environmental Microbiology Program [AIHE EMLAP]) laboratory for direct microscopic examination.
